How can I describe my therapy with Amy? A visual image came into my head. It is the image of a pond – a still, opaque pond, its bottom covered in dark debris. Amy’s gentle questions are paper boats that float on the pond. Invariably the paper boats float to the part of the pond wherein lies the darkest, heaviest leaf. Simply the presence of the paper boat draws the dark leaf to the surface. As it rises from the bottom of the pond the water around it becomes clear, it becomes illumined by the boats, and it floats to the surface. It breaks the surface of the water and is carried off by the wind. This is a simple way to express how the therapy feels to me.  My inner self is being gently opened up and debris is being released. She treated me and my pain with a gentleness that allowed me to be gentle with myself.  The result is a shifting and reframing of how I feel inside that is both miraculous and moving. Let me use the pond image again to explain the best part of this . Not only has debris floated to the top but I discovered that a tiny jewel- like seed of love and compassion for myself had been hiding under many dark layers at the bottom of the pond.  Like a tiny moonstone its glow was only revealed to the eye once it was called to the surface. I was astounded and amazed to find this treasure and now I have it I will nurture the seed   and keep it close to me always.
There are no words to thank someone who can facilitate this depth of healing.

My college girlfriend of 45 years, recently returned from a 2 week trekking trip in Nepal (hiking and camping).  She and her husband were attended by porters and Sherpas who set up the tent and did the cooking etc.  She said she understood a new level of devoted service when she was helped by the Sherpas.  The Sherpas hardly spoke, but they understood deeply.  They knew when she was tired, hungry, thirsty and they filled her needs silently.  They seemed also in tune with nature and had a great sense of peace, security and balance.

I want to say that your service was like the Sherpas.  You gave of yourself fully, spoke only as necessary and removed your own self during the period of service to me.

Thanks again. God bless your work.

“ARC has the potential for being a very deep form of healing.  It relies on the client’s own body-wisdom to self-heal, guided by the skilful facilitation of the practitioner. Amy is very compassionate, knowledgeable, and respectful. She has a gentle reassuring presence that instills confidence in me.   My sessions with Amy enabled me to address not only the physical problem I was experiencing but also the underlying emotional aspects, which led to lasting change.”

“Amy is very warm, caring, understanding, and professional. She provides a safe environment to relax and let go to release whatever is necessary for healing the individual. Her modality ARC lets the client participate in their experience and see consciously where changes can be made, letting the outcome open up with a positive flow for a successful result. My experience was just that, within one week, everything had shifted for me in a positive way. I would recommend Amy to anyone for assistance in helping them find their way through a solution to any situation with a gentle, loving session.”
